3) My friends always tell me that they are jealous of my natural curly hair.

4) I watch American Idol every week.
5) I am extrememly gullible.

6) My birthday has been on Thanksgiving before.

7) I don’t have one favorite number or color.

8) I like cherry flavored things…but not cherries.
9) I sing driving in my car alone and in my shower.

10) I am the youngest of my two other older sisters.
11) I go on Facebook too much sometimes.
12) I enjoy listening to 90s music.

13) I have been to Mexico and Alaska before.

14) My favorite chocolate candy is Charleston Chews.

1. I am obsessed with high heels. I am constantly at bakers buying new ones!

2. The first thing I notice is white-teeth. I’m not quite sure why.

3. I’m going to the University of Arizona in December! I can’t wait!

4. I love tanning. However, I never seem to really ever get even the slightest bit tan

5. I love to let my stylist dye my hair different colors and I love drastically different changes.

6. I’m an avid golfer and I find golf peaceful yet stressful due to the nature of the competition.

7. I work at the Limited Too/Justice. Sometimes all the little girls and the clothes they throw around drive my absolutely crazy. But I love it there!

8. I’m really into dance. I dance at Accent on Dance in the company program and love it!

9. I adore ballet; I especially love the tutus you get to wear!

10. I’ve always been an inner perfectionist and I get really frustrated when things aren’t absolutely perfect. It’s exhausting.

11. I love the art of photography and the excitement I get when you have the perfect picture.

12. I love dressing up, maybe a bit too much. I also hate wearing t-shirts. I don’t know why though.

13. I go to Brookfield Central High School.
14. I love traveling and just laying on the beach.
15. My brother loves to blare music and it drive me insane

16. I’ve always wanted a convertible and now that I finally have one I really want to know how to keep my hair going back. (A trick with the windows maybe? I have no idea.)

19. I’ve always wanted to run a marathon. But, I’ve accepted some things won’t happen

1. I’ve never broken a bone, despite the fact that I bruise quite easily.

2. I’m a really big neat freak, especially when it comes to my room.

3. I’ll eat anything except plain tomatoes. I’ll eat tomato soup, ketchup, whatever- i just don’t like plain tomatoes.

4. I know it’s weird but I hate when things touch the front of my neck. I can’t wear any turtlenecks, tight necklaces, most sweatshirts, and I cut all of my t-shirts that aren’t v-necks.

5. For my whole life I’ve wanted to become a surgeon.

6. I love to dance and have been dancing for 15 years.

7. I make notecards and overstudy for almost every quiz and test.

8. I’m not a big fan of shopping unless it is for dresses or swim suits.

9. My biggest fear of the ocean is the undertow.

10. Technology hates me, or maybe I’m just extremely slow when it comes to computers and stuff. I don’t know how to use itunes, how to burn a cd, and it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to turn off my ipod.

11. I love doing hair and end up being hair dresser for my friends for several occasion

12. My favorite food is chocolate. Any kind will do.

13. I can fall asleep faster in the car than I can in my own bed

14. I watch every rerun of Friends that’s on tv even though I’ve seen every episode at least 5 times.

15. I’m not obsessed with “going green” but I really hate wasting paper.

16. I love dressing up for holidays, even the ones I don’t celebrate. I deck out in all green on St. Patrick’s day even though I am 0% Irish, and I bring out the christmas gear on the 25th even though I’m jewish.

17. I’m really good at rhyming. I don’t know why, it just comes to me.

18. I was bald until I was two.

19. I took taekwondo for 2 weeks, at which time my mom told me I had to choose between that and dance.

20. When I was in 3rd grade my sister and I got a hamster and named it Doodledandy Karina Phillips (doodles for short).

21. I love cards and board games.

22. I get really competitive when playing any kind of racket sport.

23. I had buck teeth and a haircut as short as my ears in 1st grade. This started my 6 year awkward stage.

24. I always have to get in and get out of my bed on the same side.

25. I love smiling and when someone tells me not to smile I find it very difficult to keep a straight face. Consequently, you will find that, against the rules, I am smiling on both my license and my passport.

1. I love animals. My cats are my favorite, Pumpkin & Frankie.

2. Milk chocolate = LOVE! It is my all time favorite candy ever. Especially Dove.

3. I will do anything to laugh. I enjoy laughing, even to the point where I can’t breath.

4. My house hold is like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. My two sisters and I all share jeans and clothes.

5. I love being outside. It is so much better than being inside.

6. I am addicted to Facebook and have been since 8th grade.

7. Family game night at my house gets really crazy.

8. I love photography. Only of nature or objects though.

9. This Winter and Fall I am obsessed with boots. I have over ten pairs.

10. I am a very social person, but I love my alone time in my room.

11. I enjoy being creative. My art usually consists of random doodles.

12. I love boys. They are great. I have a lot of guy friends, and they are the best to hang out with.

13. When I was younger I wanted to be a vet, but now I want to be a teacher.

14. My friends and I enjoy doing the most random things for entertainment.

15. I was born in California, then moved to Colorado, and now ended up in Wisconsin.

16. The beach is one of my favorite places to be. A hot sunny day is perfection.

17. Last spring break, I went to Mexico, and it was the best trip of my life.

18. Silence hurts my ears. I always have to be listening to music.

19. 90% of my clothes are from Forever 21.

20. I am a vegetarian and have been for 5 months.

21. I love babysitting and little kids. I would gladly babysit your children on a Friday night for hours!

22. My favorite ride at the County Fair is the Zipper. I could go on it a million times and never get sick.

23. I wish I lived in Italy, because I live off of salad, bread, and pasta.

24. When I was younger I had pet mice. I loved playing with them and was devastated when my first mouse Abby died.

25. Every Sunday my family and I go to Dave’s Bagels for breakfast.

Salon Perfect Hair

Whenever I get my haircut I always leave the salon feeling so stylish and smelling so clean from all the perfect potions they use on my head. Not only do I smell good but the stylists at De Riah Salon and Spa in Cedarburg, Wisconsin also massage your head, neck and shoulders! De Riah has a trained staff that really takes the time to get to know their clientele. They don’t just put you in a chair, ask what you are wanting done that day and start to cut away. They listen to what it is that you want, ask how you do your own hair on a daily basis and if you notice anything that bothers you about your hair. They don’t tell you that its the products that you are using and ask that you purchase their products, they actually train you on how you should do your hair based on the type of hair that you have and the style that you are used to wearing. When I told my stylist what I had trouble with when I style my hair she actually helped me understand why I was having an issue and then taught me how to fix it. Yes, I see her using product and I always ask her what she’s using and how she uses it but I never hear that the reason I have trouble with my hair is because of the products that I am using or NOT using. With me, its user error! I’m just not that talented with a hairdryer and a round brush. They also fill out a prescription sheet of all the products that they used on my hair. That way, I can continue to use what I have but if I want to purchase something, anyone at De Riah can help me. Its an educational experience that I truly look forward to and one of these days I will walk around everyday, not just “hair day”, as if I just walked out of the De Riah!
