On Location senior pictures have been a recent trend here at Shoot the Moon at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. If you’re interested in booking your senior portrait session and going on location, remember to reserve your slot as soon as possible, as prime lighting times are an important consideration when choosing outdoor photography. Also, keep in mind that having both indoor and outdoor images to choose from adds a nice variety to your senior portrait session. If your interested in heading on location for your shoot, consider booking our 90-minute Contemporary session to allow for both indoor and outdoor fun. Additionally, if you’re interested in going somewhere but don’t have a location in mind, simply inquire when you call to book-we have our own favorite spots that we’ll absolutely recommend. I loved Kassie’s mellow attitude and willingness to try anything. We ventured around our field out in back of the Mequon studio and shot some perfect summertime images. If you are wanting a little green in your photos, this is a great location. I personally LOVE how well the green looked with her strawberry colored hair. Thanks for coming in, I had a great time! After the rainy weekend kept us mostly indoors, we welcomed the sun during Megan’s second portrait session. Senior Pictures: Round Two

We’re loving having our senior models back for their second model sessions of the year! Our Mequon and Delafield photography studios have transformed right along with the seasons, and we’ve got fresh ideas and green fields all around. If you’re lucky enough to adventure with us into our Mequon fields for some fun outdoor photography be prepared to wade through our sea of ever-growing grasses (and secure all cell phones that may decide to go rogue amongst the flowers). Second model sessions also mean it’s time to schedule your appointment! Class of 2011 Seniors: call to schedule your sessions as soon as possible in order to make yearbook deadlines and secure spots that correspond to your summer activities- scheduling early allows for prime photography slots as well as a stress free experience later on. Class of 2011 Senior Model: Andy

We have started wrapping up our model promotion for class of 2011 seniors. We started way back in March when there was snow on the ground and are now having a great time photographing everyone out in the sun. Andy came into the Mequon studio and was willing to let us try out a few new lighting techniques that we’ve learned. Here are a few of my favorites that we came up with 🙂 Thanks to Andy for being such a great sport! Even though our model program is coming to an end, our senior season is just beginning! Hey Everyone! In my nighttime ponderings (yes, 9:45pm is late-night for me after a busy day of shoots and consults at the Moon) I’ve realized that lately we’ve been blogging- almost exclusively-our Class of 2011 Senior Models! While we loooove our models (tis the season) and can’t wait to shoot many more of them in the upcoming weeks, I can’t help but feel we’re neglecting the little guys! Seniors may take the stage as we’re in full swing posting their images to share, but we have just as many adorable mini-models coming through the doors at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. Springtime has brought in a fun batch of families, babies, and kids and we’ve been enjoying seeing you all. Below are a few images from one of my favorite recent sessions. These two were a photographer’s dream…so well behaved and extremely cute, working with them made my day. Keep coming back to look at more fun sessions…I promise we’ll try to keep up!!!!
