I’ve been photographing these two little darlings since they were newborns and its so fun to watch them grow bigger and with more personality each time they come to the Mequon studio for their child portrait session. I am in love with Miss G’s wavy red hair and also Miss L’s big blue eyes and dimples! Thanks so much for another super fun photography session! 
When a family with 5 children comes into one of the Miwaukee area photography studios, I always hope for a smooth photo shoot with 5 happy little kids! This darling family was not only amazingly well behaved but full of sweetness and smiles! They were coordinated beautiful and were such a delight to photograph! Thank you for an amazing session!
Hey Everyone! In my nighttime ponderings (yes, 9:45pm is late-night for me after a busy day of shoots and consults at the Moon) I’ve realized that lately we’ve been blogging- almost exclusively-our Class of 2011 Senior Models! While we loooove our models (tis the season) and can’t wait to shoot many more of them in the upcoming weeks, I can’t help but feel we’re neglecting the little guys! Seniors may take the stage as we’re in full swing posting their images to share, but we have just as many adorable mini-models coming through the doors at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. Springtime has brought in a fun batch of families, babies, and kids and we’ve been enjoying seeing you all. Below are a few images from one of my favorite recent sessions. These two were a photographer’s dream…so well behaved and extremely cute, working with them made my day. Keep coming back to look at more fun sessions…I promise we’ll try to keep up!!!!

Clare is so much fun! She came in to let me just PLAY! Play with new props, lighting techniques and learn about how the light falls in our new studio! She even tried on a vintage hat during our photo shoot at the new Mequon Photography studio.

We love to adorn local businesses with our Shoot the Moon photography. I had the pleasure of hanging our photographs at Lake Country Orthodontics in Oconomowoc. Let’s face it, going to the orthodontist is not necessarily something we look forward to doing. With that said, when I walked into Lake Country Orthodontics, I didn’t want to leave. The waiting room contains video games to keep you busy and ultra leather chairs to keep you comfortable. I’ve enjoyed seeing Miss L and Miss G grow up since they were little babies! They are tons of fun each time I am able to photograph them at the Mequon photography studio. Its always fun to see them each year and this studio session was no exception! There were lots of giggles and tons of laughter as we enjoyed our photography time together.

I’ve been photographing Mr. L since he was a little infant, and he will be celebrating his third birthday! Happy Birthday! 
Newborn models needed!
During the month of August, Amy at our Delafield location will be photographing NEWBORNS. Models will receive a complimentary session and 15% off any items they may wish to purchase (no purchase necessary). Models must also agree to allow Shoot the Moon to use images in current marketing materials and displays. Twins and Triplets are also encouraged!
Newborns must be 2 weeks or YOUNGER please. If you are expecting (or know anyone who is), please have them contact us as soon as possible (before the baby is born is great!) to set up a time. Unfortunately this project does not allow babies older than 14 days old, or siblings, but we are happy to do a 2nd session at a discounted rate for siblings if needed.
