1. I have three dogs. Two golden retrievers and a chocolate lab. The reason we have three dogs is one dog for me and one dog for each of my two sisters!

2. I used to play the violin until I was in seventh grade.

3. I have a huge phobia of lakes and rivers, because I don’t like to touch the bottem of them.

4. My favorite food is mexican. I love spicy food.

5. My older sister is my half sister and is thirteen years older than me and has a daughter that is thirteen years younger than me.

6. I love thunderstorms.

7. My favorite season is fall because the weather is perfect and the trees are beautiful when they change colors.

8. I love watching football! My favorite team is the Green Bay Packers.

9. If I was allowed to I would sleep all day.

10. I love reading and I can’t stop until I at least finish reading the chapter.

11. I love animals and would do anything for them.

12. I have dyed my hair brown, red, and even purple. But my natural hair color is blonde.

13. I brush my teeth in the shower.

14. To get up for school I have to wake up really early otherwise I won’t wake up at all.

15. I have lived in Mequon my whole life.

16. My favortie cartoon is Scooby-Doo. I still watch it everyone once in awhile.

17. I love going for a run right when I wake up in the morning.

18. When I’m sad I either listen to country music or the band Journey

19. When I clean my room it will take me at least three days because I clean it, rearrange my furrniture, and redo the way I have things set up in my closet.

20. I used to paint my nails a different color everyday.

21. I go to Six-Flags and Noah’s Ark every summer.

22. I love horror movies even though they really scare me.

23. I hate lady bugs more than any other bug.

24. If I leave my house without my cell phone I feel empty.

25. I love traveling! I want to go to Africa some day.

Our mini sessions are only offered a few times a year, We have two options this year:

Option One: $495 you will receive a 15 minute session and 8-10 digital files printable on photographic paper up to an 11×14 plus card options!
Option Two: For $395 you will receive a 15 minute session with a $325 print credit towards our custom cards and beautiful prints.

Our mini sessions are only offered occasionally, please call ahead to ensure availability as they do book up. The fall is the absolute busiest time of year and clients who call early have a wider variety of availability.

On Location senior pictures have been a recent trend here at Shoot the Moon at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. If you’re interested in booking your senior portrait session and going on location, remember to reserve your slot as soon as possible, as prime lighting times are an important consideration when choosing outdoor photography. Also, keep in mind that having both indoor and outdoor images to choose from adds a nice variety to your senior portrait session. If your interested in heading on location for your shoot, consider booking our 90-minute Contemporary session to allow for both indoor and outdoor fun. Additionally, if you’re interested in going somewhere but don’t have a location in mind, simply inquire when you call to book-we have our own favorite spots that we’ll absolutely recommend. Hartland Child Photographer: Outdoor kids!

I was invited to photograph some seriously amazing kiddos at their beautiful home today. We had so much fun playing by the lake, walking up the paths and exploring! I love the toothy grins and giggles from my new little friend! His sister is not only beautiful, but incredibly sweet. I even got to see their secret reading spot! It was absolutely special. At the end of our child photography session, my hard work was rewarded with an amazing hand drawn picture that is now displayed proudly in my office. It was my name written in PINK (My favorite color and hers!) with super awesome stars, hearts and the word FUN written all around it.

Queen for A Day: Milwaukee Photography

In Conjunction with the Delafield Art Walk and in celebration of Mother’s day, the merchants of Downtown Delafield hosted a “Queen for a Day” Raffle. Our lucky winner, Kate was treated to breakfast, a makeover, photo session from us, lunch, treats from all the area businesses and much much more!

She chose to spend the day with her friend and daughter, and I was lucky enough to have photographed them all! Kate- you are beautiful! Thank you for the amazing photo shoot today!

Hey Everyone! In my nighttime ponderings (yes, 9:45pm is late-night for me after a busy day of shoots and consults at the Moon) I’ve realized that lately we’ve been blogging- almost exclusively-our Class of 2011 Senior Models! While we loooove our models (tis the season) and can’t wait to shoot many more of them in the upcoming weeks, I can’t help but feel we’re neglecting the little guys! Seniors may take the stage as we’re in full swing posting their images to share, but we have just as many adorable mini-models coming through the doors at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. Springtime has brought in a fun batch of families, babies, and kids and we’ve been enjoying seeing you all. Below are a few images from one of my favorite recent sessions. These two were a photographer’s dream…so well behaved and extremely cute, working with them made my day. Keep coming back to look at more fun sessions…I promise we’ll try to keep up!!!!
