We had a great shoot with the A family at our Mequon Shoot the Moon location this winter while the weather was still treating us well!
The K family came in to our Mequon location of Shoot the Moon Photography to get their family portraits done as well as some portraits of their adorable little baby girl.
Capturing all the beautiful colors of the changing leaves is something we love about fall here at Shoot the Moon Photography!
Each month, Shoot the Moon is fortunate enough to work with Milwaukee’s Metroparent Magazine photographing Milwaukee area kids for the cover. For years we’ve been able to work with great babies, toddlers and kids in order to provide Metroparent with unique covers each month. Meeting these kids is not only a great experience for us as photographers, but seeing the children and their parents so excited that they’ll be on the cover of a publication distributed throughout southeastern Wisconsin is a feeling of contagious excitement. So thank you, Metroparent Magazine for working with us, it’s been an exciting and rewarding journey- we can’t wait for more great cover shoots in 2012!

This delightful family had us out to their Pewaukee Lake Home to photograph their 3 small kids. The home is so beautiful and despite the cold weather and the fact that the windows had been sealed up for the winter, we had a great time photographing all around the lovely home. The twins were so cute playing with their cars and enjoying a bubble bath while their older sister patiently read, enjoyed hot cocoa and snuggled with her stuffed animal.

Chad and Catherine had a glorious Milwaukee wedding at Villa Terrace on the East Side, followed by a stunningly beautiful, Ralph Lauren Inspired gala at the Grain Exchange in Milwaukee. We were lucky enough to be the photographic artists to capture this beautiful wedding day. Catherine was a stunning bride and Chad and his groomsmen looked fantastic in their fresh, khaki colored wedding attire. The bridesmaids wore navy dresses with oh-so-chic patterned shoes.
David Caruso of Dynamic Events was the event planning master that meticulously managed this fabulous soiree complete with a full lounge area for guests for the cocktail party and an upstairs lounge during the reception. Acme lighting pulled out all of the stops with an amazing lighting showcase including the couple’s own logo shining brightly on the walls and dance floor. In addition to David’s genius styling, the show stoppers of the evening were the bountiful floral arrangements from Dahlia Blooms that were breathtakingly beautiful while being chic and classic! The Cake Lady delivered a multi tiered masterpiece that the guests gobbled up, and the cake was topped with personalized chocolate disks from Indulgence Chocolatiers. Custom stationery was designed by Paper Envy and featured luxurious place cards and menu cards!

Class of 2012 senior season is in full swing at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios! We’re busy trying to keep up with all your great indoor and outdoor photo sessions and we’ve been shooting, editing and ordering like crazy! We can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by and just want to remind everyone in the Class of 2012 that school is starting soon, which means many yearbook deadlines are fast approaching.
