Milwaukee Family Photography: Session Share!

This family came in for an evening appointment last week and were a great way to end the work day. Everyone had a great attitude which really shows through in their portraits. I also LOVED how they coordinated themselves. The gray tones look fantastic and give a modern feel to the session. If you are ever wondering how to style a group for a family portrait we always recommend choosing a pattern and then have other individuals pick out colors from that pattern. Have fun with it! Baby Boom 2011-Milwaukee Newborn Photography

There must have been something in the water 9 months ago, because Shoot the Moon has been photographing an awful lot of newborns this February-our biggest baby boom in years! We are always honored to be trusted with your newborn photography and feel lucky to meet your newest additions when they are only a few days old. At Shoot the Moon Photography, we love our client’s individual personalities to shine through. It does not always make for a timeless portrait to hang for years when Susie is wearing hot pink stripey tights with a purple tulle skirt, and Mom is in her favorite taupe cashmere sweater. However- if you stick with a color theme, you can feel free to mix and match until your heart is content and it will look amazing in photos– and let your personality sparkle!

The G family came to our Mequon photography studio for their family portraits. I’ve had the pleasure of watching each of their beautiful little boys grow up since they were newborns and have photographed them through many smiles (and a few tears!) and this photography session was exceptional. It's never too early to think about Senior Style...

It’s January, which means the holidays have come and gone, the snow and slush are probably bumming you out, and you have NO idea what to look forward to now that warm weather seems only a distant memory lost in the abyss of shoveling, bulky sweaters and yet another night-in at home hoping your favorite shows are actually new this week.
