I just got done with my mini photo shoot for the 2013 models at Shoot The Moon Photography! In all honesty, I had a lot of fun. I have never been in any type of photo shoot before. At first, I was a little nervous, but Angie, my photographer, made me feel really comfortable! She helped me a ton with all of my posing. She knew exactly where I should stand and how to look. I trust Shoot The Moon Photography and hope to see more people from the area get their senior pictures done there! It’s completely worth it and will not be a waste of your time. My first time at a photo shoot will always be remembered. If you are looking for some exquisite photography, STM is the place for you 🙂

Class of 2012 senior season is in full swing at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios! We’re busy trying to keep up with all your great indoor and outdoor photo sessions and we’ve been shooting, editing and ordering like crazy! We can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by and just want to remind everyone in the Class of 2012 that school is starting soon, which means many yearbook deadlines are fast approaching. Make sure to call as soon as possible to schedule your senior portrait session as well as your viewing and ordering appointments! Hopefully we’ll be back to blog more senior sessions soon, but until then, here are a few favorites from Pady’s in-studio and outdoor photography session! (Isn’t she gorgeous!?) 262-240-9848
Becoming a senior in high school can be overwhelming, but Shoot the Moon Photography makes it a little easier! I would strongly encourage STM for all seniors looking for high quality pictures and a fun photoshoot. The staff is friendly, professional, resourceful, and incredibly talented. My photographer captured exactly what I wanted my senior pictures to look like and we had a lot of fun doing it! The studio was easy to find and had a lot of great props and backgrounds to make for awesome pictures. I’m thrilled with how my pictures turned out! Thanks Shoot the Moon! 🙂

Every once in awhile, my Grandma brings me Bon Appetit magazines. I found this recipe in one and my sister and I decided to make it for my mom for mother’s day. It was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. However, we substituted the grape tomatoes for small heirloom tomatoes. We served it with a French baguette. It’s really very simple to make and turns out great!
Rigatoni with Eggplant and Pine Nut Crunch
INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 425° F. Spray a large rimmed baking sheet with nonstick spray, add eggplant and peppers. Cut tomatoes in half length-wise and add to sheet. Drizzle the vegetables with olive oil and sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper. Using a garlic press, squeeze one garlic clove over vegetables. Toss mixture together. Roast vegetables until tender, stirring often (about 35 minutes).
Combine 2/3 cup basil, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and 1 garlic clove in a food processor. Blend until crumbly. Top with salt.
Blend tomatoes with juice, cream, 1 1/3 cups basil, and 1 garlic clove in a food processor or blender until smooth. Season sauce with salt and pepper.
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, drain. Return pasta to pot and toss with sauce, vegetables, and remaining Parmesan cheese. Transfer mixture to a 13x9x2″ baking dish. Sprinkle with mozzarella and pine nut topping. Bake until heated through and cheese is melted (about 30 minutes).
Let stand 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy! 🙂
