When a family with 5 children comes into one of the Miwaukee area photography studios, I always hope for a smooth photo shoot with 5 happy little kids! This darling family was not only amazingly well behaved but full of sweetness and smiles! They were coordinated beautiful and were such a delight to photograph! Thank you for an amazing session!
I met this gorgeous couple two years ago while photographing their beautiful Milwaukee wedding, and was so excited to be able to be their family photographer with their new little baby girl! Everyone was surprised by her platinum blonde hair, and tons of it! Welcome to the world, Little A. I’m excited to watch you grow.
I was invited to photograph some seriously amazing kiddos at their beautiful home today. We had so much fun playing by the lake, walking up the paths and exploring! I love the toothy grins and giggles from my new little friend! His sister is not only beautiful, but incredibly sweet. I even got to see their secret reading spot! It was absolutely special. At the end of our child photography session, my hard work was rewarded with an amazing hand drawn picture that is now displayed proudly in my office. It was my name written in PINK (My favorite color and hers!) with super awesome stars, hearts and the word FUN written all around it.

Little Miss B came to our Delafield photography studio for her portrait session. She is a child model and came in for photographs for her photography comp cart with Ford and It was SO much fun to photograph her! Miss B first buttered me up with flowers. (THANK YOU!) I repaid the favor.. with ice cream and a fantastic caramel apple! Thank you so much for the fun, candid photography session!
Shoot the Moon Photography is hosting a workshop at their Mequon studio with photographers from around the midwest, including Ana Brandt from California. We need models!
We are looking for Pregnant Women who are 7-9 months pregnant on Friday, May 7th. We need one model at 11:15am and a 2nd at 3:30pm.
We also need newborns on Saturday May 8th. We will need one newborn at 11am, and 2nd newborn at 3pm. Newborns must be between 5-21 days old and/or between 6-8 lbs.
Models will receive a complimentary session and it will be a lot of fun! You are welcome to bring along partners and other children, but this class focuses on newborn and maternity and there will be about 15 people working with you, so please keep that in mind with small children who may be overwhelmed.

Joey was a great sport and came in to take a sneak peek at our feathered friends at the studio March 15-23. They will be here for one week only before they are off to their new home. Our Duckling and Chick sessions are available for $95 per child and includesa $50 print credit*.

We love to adorn local businesses with our Shoot the Moon photography. I had the pleasure of hanging our photographs at Lake Country Orthodontics in Oconomowoc. Let’s face it, going to the orthodontist is not necessarily something we look forward to doing. With that said, when I walked into Lake Country Orthodontics, I didn’t want to leave. The waiting room contains video games to keep you busy and ultra leather chairs to keep you comfortable. New to Shoot the Moon Photography this spring, we are announcing our live duckling and baby chick images. We are testing out working with our little models before they go to their new home on an awesome farm, and they are here waiting for some kiddos to play with this week only! (January 18-22)
We will then be getting new baby ducks and chicks in time for Easter in March. Our Spring Limited Edition Sessions will run in the middle of March.

Miss R and Mr. J came to visit me today for the first time at our Delafield Portrait studio and I was so excited to take their photograph! Their mom picked amazing clothes and the weather cooperated to allow for some really lovely outdoor images! Thank you for all the playtime.. and the cheese-its, which were perfect for Lunch. he he.

I’ve enjoyed seeing Miss L and Miss G grow up since they were little babies! They are tons of fun each time I am able to photograph them at the Mequon photography studio. Its always fun to see them each year and this studio session was no exception! There were lots of giggles and tons of laughter as we enjoyed our photography time together.
