When photographing children, at Shoot the Moon Milwaukee we think its important for the Photographer to let the real spirit of the child sneak through. That philosophy was carried on when Miss E visited our Mequon Photography studio recently for Holiday portraits for family and friends. Her delightful spirit and playfulness was captured in the photos that were taken at the north shore portrait studio. We especially appreciated her willingness to let her personality show through and she was definitely not afraid to giggle, dance and have fun at our photo session together! What to wear: Milwaukee Family Photographer | photo

Stressed out at the thought of picking out photo perfect clothing? Are you stumped at what to wear when you prepare for Milwaukee Family Photographs? I’ve recently fallen in love with Pinterest which allows me to quickly tag photo ideas and family photography clothing ideas onto ‘boards’ to refer to later.

How it works is that you drag a bookmarklet up to your bookmark bar. When you are searching the web, you select “pin it” and it will pull up all of the photographs on that page, which you are then able to “pin” to a board and add notes. The best thing– it links back to where you originally found the idea so you don’t have to bookmark everything.

Emily: Milwaukee Senior Pictures

Emily was so delightful to come into our Delafield Portrait studio for her Milwaukee senior pictures. We had a great time with her fashion forward clothes running through downtown Delafield in order to capture just the right look for her beautiful graduation photos. She travelled all the way from Brookfield where she attends Catholic Memorial High School. We think she photographs to look a lot like Megan Fox! Besides being beautiful, she is talented and sweet! Our favorite mix to work with when photographing graduation pictures.

It is always a really fun time when High School seniors are adventurous enough to allow their photographer to take a few risks and do some fun, creative things like get in the water! Class of 2012 senior season is in full swing at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios! We’re busy trying to keep up with all your great indoor and outdoor photo sessions and we’ve been shooting, editing and ordering like crazy! It has been a great couple of weeks photographing these kiddos at our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. We loved getting to know their fun personalities as well as meeting their familes when they came to visit us for their child photography session! Now we are excited to watch the voting!

We photographed this little guy back when he was just a baby and now he and his sister came back in to have some fun.
