I love early morning photography sessions– the light is beautiful early in the morning and this morning was perfect for one of my favorite Cedarburg families. I went to their home for an on-location portrait session and used the beautiful fall leaves in their yard. Thank you for such a fun family photography session!

When a family with 5 children comes into one of the Miwaukee area photography studios, I always hope for a smooth photo shoot with 5 happy little kids! I was invited to photograph some seriously amazing kiddos at their beautiful home today. We had so much fun playing by the lake, walking up the paths and exploring! I love the toothy grins and giggles from my new little friend! His sister is not only beautiful, but incredibly sweet. I even got to see their secret reading spot! It was absolutely special. At the end of our child photography session, my hard work was rewarded with an amazing hand drawn picture that is now displayed proudly in my office. It was my name written in PINK (My favorite color and hers!) with super awesome stars, hearts and the word FUN written all around it.

Clare is so much fun! She came in to let me just PLAY! Play with new props, lighting techniques and learn about how the light falls in our new studio! She even tried on a vintage hat during our photo shoot at the new Mequon Photography studio.

I’ve photographed Aubrey 3 times now, and each time we have so much fun at the photography studio. Her dad always treats her to hair and makeup by DeRiah Salon and Boutique and we have fun playing with different hair and makeup looks. Alyssa is the amazing makeup artists and hairstylist for our shoot today! She always comes in right around her birthday (and our birthdays are only 2 days apart which is fun!) Today she brought in her iPod and we jammed out and tried tons of new stuff in the Mequon photography studio. When I was setting up lights and said I was going to try some new stuff, she said “Each year you try new stuff, how come?” To that I replied… “Because you let me!” It’s totally a blast when clients come with great clothes, and let us just try fun new stuff. The results can be unexpected — and amazing!
Aubrey is involved in pageants and her fun, rocker edge sets her apart! She has won several “Miss Photogenic” awards both locally and nationally, and its my honor to be your portrait photographer!
