It’s getting warm out, which means plenty of occasions for great outdoor photography at both our Mequon and Delafield studios. If you’re interested in getting your family portrait done outdoors, make sure to think about scheduling a morning or evening appointment when light is best. Shoot the Moon is currently booking well into June for our next available evening appointments, so be sure to schedule your next session as soon as possible if you’re looking for something later in the day. I love canvas clusters!

My favorite Shoot the Moon product would have to be the canvas cluster. They are rich in color and can liven up any home. You can add to the cluster year to year to show how your family has grown and to tell your story.

Big Brother To Be - Milwaukee Children's Photographer

Mr. N. visited our Mequon photography studio for a fun family photo session with his beautiful mommy and daddy– and baby brother due in March! His fun little personality lit up while we were playing during his fun photo shoot. We chose to shoot in our natural light studio to bring out the sparkle in his brown eyes but also went into the other studio as well for a different look! We can’t wait to meet your new little brother!

Milwaukee Family Photography: Day in the Life

This delightful family had us out to their Pewaukee Lake Home to photograph their 3 small kids. The home is so beautiful and despite the cold weather and the fact that the windows had been sealed up for the winter, we had a great time photographing all around the lovely home. The twins were so cute playing with their cars and enjoying a bubble bath while their older sister patiently read, enjoyed hot cocoa and snuggled with her stuffed animal.

Milwaukee Family Photography: Session Share!

This family came in for an evening appointment last week and were a great way to end the work day. Everyone had a great attitude which really shows through in their portraits. I also LOVED how they coordinated themselves. The gray tones look fantastic and give a modern feel to the session. If you are ever wondering how to style a group for a family portrait we always recommend choosing a pattern and then have other individuals pick out colors from that pattern. Have fun with it!
