We LOVE the weather we have been having as of late and it is perfect to go out and photograph. Kate came in to our Delafield location and was really interested in photographing outside so after a few shots in the studio we headed out into the heat. Her mom was great and suggested we use a friend’s rooftop. It was a little toasty up there but the light was so pretty and the white showcases her red hair perfectly. There is still time to call in for your senior portrait session and plenty of good weather to take advantage of. Class of 2012 senior season is in full swing at both our Mequon and Delafield photography studios! We’re busy trying to keep up with all your great indoor and outdoor photo sessions and we’ve been shooting, editing and ordering like crazy! We can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by and just want to remind everyone in the Class of 2012 that school is starting soon, which means many yearbook deadlines are fast approaching. Becoming a senior in high school can be overwhelming, but Shoot the Moon Photography makes it a little easier!  I would strongly encourage STM for all seniors looking for high quality pictures and a fun photoshoot.  The staff is friendly, professional, resourceful, and incredibly talented.  My photographer captured exactly what I wanted my senior pictures to look like and we had a lot of fun doing it!  The studio was easy to find and had a lot of great props and backgrounds to make for awesome pictures.  I’m thrilled with how my pictures turned out!  Thanks Shoot the Moon! :)

We had a great time with Paige this past week. She came into our Delafield location which just moved next to Milwaukee Street Traders! It is a great spot with tons of walkable outdoor shooting spots. I love that we could enjoy the weather and have some fun outside. If you love the look of outdoor portraits, consider bringing a parent or friend to help tame environmental elements such as sun and wind. No Bake Fudge Cookies

I love making these cookies. They are so quick and easy! They’re perfect for a movie night with your friends.
(servings 18)
Ingredients
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan combine, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup butter, and boil for 1 minute.
  2. Take off heat and add peanut butter, quick cooking oats, cocoa, vanilla and raisins.
  3. Stir well. Drop by teaspoon on wax paper Let sit one hour.

  • The pronunciation of my name is similar to (Eye-luh).
  • I LOVE Scooby-Doo fruit snacks, Grape G2 and Frosted Mini Wheats!
  • I drive a silver Jeep Liberty named “Jeepy”.
  • Grey’s Anatomy is my absolute favorite show.
  • I am the middle child of five.  We all have names starting with vowels.
  • My favorite movie of all time is The Parent Trap, followed by Titanic.
  • Sometimes I prefer to listen to classical music (composed by John Williams, of course!) instead of the radio, but I love all kinds of music.  Some of my favorite artists are Keith Urban, The Fray, Jon McLaughlin, and Taylor Swift.
  • I love Oprah Winfrey!  I miss her show already.
  • I don’t like soda.
  • My toes are double jointed.
  • I love Summerfest!  The food, the music, the people.  I go as many days as I can every summer.
  • Sometimes I wish I was left handed.
  • I love algebra!
  • I had to get stitches for the first time on December 28, 2010; the day before my sixteenth birthday.
  • Washington DC is one of my favorite places to travel to.
  • I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life and have never been to a Packer game.
  • I have an unhealthy obsession with Target.

  • I love 49 cent cones from McDonald’s!
  • I love arts and crafts.
