Each month, Shoot the Moon is fortunate enough to work with Milwaukee’s  Metroparent Magazine photographing Milwaukee area kids for the cover. For years we’ve been able to work with great babies, toddlers and kids in order to provide Metroparent with unique covers each month. Meeting these kids is not only a great experience for us as photographers, but seeing the children and their parents so excited that they’ll be on the cover of a publication distributed throughout southeastern Wisconsin is a feeling of contagious excitement. So thank you, Metroparent Magazine for working with us, it’s been an exciting and rewarding journey- we can’t wait for more great cover shoots in 2012!

The cutest kids are here!

It has been a great couple of weeks photographing these kiddos at our Mequon and Delafield photography studios. We loved getting to know their fun personalities as well as meeting their familes when they came to visit us for their child photography session! Now we are excited to watch the voting!

Here’s how it works!

Each child has their own identifying number.  Simply email cutestkid@stmphoto.com with your favorite child’s number.  We always welcome comments below on our blog, but votes must be emailed.

A few tips!   We will be accepting one vote per email, so make sure you post on facebook, and share both our fanpage and the blog post with your friends and family.  Encourage them to help spread the word too!

We photographed this little guy back when he was just a baby and now he and his sister came back in to have some fun. He started out a little shy but then gave me a few smiles as soon as we brought in the sheep, a personal favorite The clean white backdrop is featured as a part of our STMbasics sessions. This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph Kayleigh, one of our Class of 2012 senior models in Milwaukee. Kayleigh had the cutest outfits with great spring colors (and awesome makeup). I loved her sense of style and she had the sweetest personality to match. Even though the weather was still a wintry mess, we were able to pretend it was sunny with some fun, indoor, warm-weather looks. Kayleigh will be coming back in May for some more outdoor photography, and I can’t wait to shoot something more urban and (hopefully) green! In between the crazy snowy weather we’ve been having, these little gals made it in for a portrait session. They are new clients of ours and it was a pleasure meeting this family. Check out a few favorites from their session!

Child photography is one of our favorite artists’ specialties as we watch your kids grow from cuddly newborns into personality filled toddlers and tweens.
